Here's a special story about this painting. I have to share because it means so much to me.
I created this lesson for my student and beautiful friend, the late Kahuna Patty Heeley, who grow up in Bayville. She always "brought the love" and though I miss her, she is right here still bringing the love and pointing the direction to this amazing Festival. Patty's motto “Live life with a peace sign in one hand and a brush in the other.” In loving memory of Patricia Ann Heeley. Thanks for being a true friend, a wonderful student, a creative artist, a wise business mentor and most importantly a miraculous medium connection to my Mom.
